When was the last time you caught a "Glimpse Of The Father"?

SO.. .R U FOR HIM 2?

WHY I WRITE

“…Did our hearts not burn within us? Didn’t we feel and know God’s presence? Didn’t our hearts beat faster? Wasn’t there a quickening in our Spirit?...”

That’s a quote from one of the stories that'll be posted here soon. It sums up why I write―receiving God's  personal revelation to me―and if He wills, sharing it with the Body of Christ. Perhaps these words will even fall into the hands of a world where, oftentimes, there is little hope.

bullet

A COMMISSION… “…Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…” Mark 16:15   (I would’ve never dreamed it would mean ‘go into the world wide web and preach!'

bullet

Jesus has asked us to be a light… “…Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops…” Mark 10:27

bullet

Jesus desires that we testify of what He’s done in our lives. In our families, in our communities― in our world... “…and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth..” Acts 1:8b

bullet

Paul encourages us to be a blessing to those in the Body― and those who are not…  “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith…”

Inspiration can can come in many forms:

bullet

An "Oh Yeah” Moment

bullet

A 'Heavenly TelegramSpecial Delivery*

bullet

Heart-Burn―(Not the kind you need Tums for)

bullet

In His Word. Listening, waiting, receiving.

bullet

A gentle touch or soft heart whisper from the Father

bullet

Through others. My Pastor, friends, or Bible study leaders.

bullet

 Acrostics.

bullet

It could be just two words.

bullet

Some touches are for edification, correction or encouragement.

bullet

 Some are just plain private.

Of course, there’s always a danger when we “bare our soul”―when we write or talk about what the Lord’s doing in our life. Especially when the heart-revelation is not a pretty one.

Hopefully though, it's my prayer that my stories can encourage others to remember that this Christian walk is a journey. Ever moving―always changing. Although sometimes we might find ourselves in a place where we don’t belong, it can be used as an opportunity to grow…

Every experience, every trial, every joy, every sorrow could of course be used to discourage or knock us down. But instead, the Lord can take those things and use them for His glory. To produce change in us.

I don't know the source of this quote, but it's very relevant, "Trials can make you bitter―or better..." May we always choose the latter...
