We come every week and sit in our regular comfortable seats.

Announcements. Offering. Worship.

We greet our fellow brothers and sisters at the door. Listen to a message that has been prayed, and poured over all week by our pastor. The Lord speaks to our hearts. Closing song.

Maybe we'll grab a cup of coffee and hang around for a while to catch up with our friends. Or maybe, some of us will high-tail it out of church because we have plans.

This goes on week after week, month after month. Even year after year. We know full well that as we listen to Pastor Phil's teach―the Lord is stirring up His Spirit in our hearts.

He wants us to grow. He desires that we examine ourselves. He requires us to hold up a mirror in front of our faces and acknowledge that there is nothing good in us, apart from Him.

We know that He desires for us to get out of our comfortable circles and reach a lost world. But how is that possible? Perhaps we lack confidence. Or maybe we don't feel that we have the time. Or we ask ourselves, how could the Lord use a sinner like me?

...But He can, and He will if you make yourself available.

Our faith can be equated to a muscle. If you exercise your muscles―they become stronger, fit and able to weather the physical storms of life. If you don't exercise those muscles they become weak and atrophied. Our faith works in exactly the same way. If you use it, you'll grow it and not lose it. In fact, the more you put your FAITH IN ACTION, the more you see how perfectly God wants to shape it.

―The Lord is doing many things in our church. Kids Hope, Nursing Home Ministry, Outreach concerts―just to name a few. And why are these ministries in place? Because someone felt called by the Lord to step up to the plate and run their faith around the bases.

It's exciting to be a part of it. And you can be TOO! Pray, and ask the Lord to show you personally what gift you can use for His kingdom and glory. You may discover that He's given you more abilities than you could've ever dreamed of.
